We made an hour stop in Park Slope on our way to a friend's barbecue in Cortelyou Road. He wanted to run, and I capture some images. The sun was out, and so were the winds. Photo two is my favorite of the four, but the last one captures the serene blue of the sky. I love the composition of two as well as its subdued, earthly-toned colors. The inconspicuous bike turned out to be a gift that makes the image all the more special and demands a contemplating gaze rather than a furtive look for the entire photo. (Pentax K1000)
He was pretty satisfied with his run, and I with my photos. I managed to capture his return to the start. Deeply concentrated on how his feet landed on the pavement and breathing remained steady, he did not notice me standing on the side. I am there, just behind those shadowy branches securely stamped on the ground. (Pentax K1000)
