Diversify my photographs
I must. I have been trying to pay attention to the movement of light, and its imprint on matter: the ground, floor, wall, etc. I am training my eye to notice how refracted light translates itself to shadows once it hits material surface. These are realist elements that usually pass by us unnoticed. We may see but not quite notice or recognize their striking redundancy. Ubiquitous, these visual everyday qualities become unremarkable unless we hold a camera in between, unless we adopt a source of mediation that creates both distance and nearness between our senses and realism.
